The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida arrested U.S. Army combat veteran Daniel Baker on Friday after he "issued a call to arms for like-minded individuals to violently confront protesters gathered at the Florida Capitol this Sunday,” according a federal complaint.
What are the Florida Capitol plot details?
The FBI, in its complaint, provided an overview of Baker's recent behavior through his posts on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. They say his posts have "escalated, indicating a potential for immediate threat during upcoming protests in Tallahassee."
On Thursday, the complaint states, Baker posted an image on a Tallahassee TV news station's website calling people to fight against protesters Sunday at the Florida Capitol. The image of a flyer in the complaint reads that the "armed community" can stop "racist mobs" by encircling the protesters and trapping them inside the Florida Capitol.

What he was doing recently: Baker in recent months had been traveling around the country during protests. He also recently applied to Tallahassee Community College's Emergency Medical Technician program, the federal complaint against him shows. The FBI said Baker has had difficulty trying to pay for his future EMT courses and has tried to crowdsource money, and made pleas for help through social media.
"I swear on god yall if I can't raise this money I will start robbing the rich and pedophiles too. This is my last fundraiser before I commit to organized crime."
Baker has traveled around the country to protest against police brutality and the destruction of America, including to Seattle and Nashville, according to the complaint…..

The FBI complained released Friday details about two dozen internet posts starting in late June. One is an Oct. 13 story on a website where he said he went to Seattle as a "hardcore leftist to participate in the "revolution."
In YouTube videos, he can be seen shooting an AK-47 assault rifle and threatens to go back to Syria and shoot people, the FBI states. He also posted photos of police vehicles on Facebook.
The final post detailed in the complaint was on the TV website calling for the violent attack on Florida Capitol protesters.
