Tacoma police responding to calls over stunt driving in the street that shut down traffic.Such street gatherings have become common in the Pacific NW. The people mobbed one of the cop vehicles before he drove forward, hitting them.

Tacoma Police Source: “The crowd was violently punching & kicking his vehicle so much that it was rocking back & forth. They surrounded the vehicle. He tried to back up but couldn’t… Some people were yelling to pull the cop out of the car."

"No one was seriously injured."
