Sooo…we’ve been at this a while…us MRs. Once the storm passes and all wakes to a free day…anyone ever think about a MR reunion of sorts? So weird to have a brotherhood with you all and yet know no one’s name. A bond with people you don’t know. Anyhow, just would be nice to meet you all one day. That’s it. I don’t have a code name or anything so no one knows who I am, but I’ve grown fond of you all. Ok…sappy over…back to dig.
I’m flyover-ish country. And EXTREMELY proud of that. Tons of trees, nice people, little traffic, buck👀, and still hanging on to a semblance of traditional values (generally speaking). But it’s so strange how we are working and trusting complete strangers…but I love this place.

Excellente!! I shall begin preparations upon 11.7 marker. Castle should be shortly thereafter. Might be a month from now, maybe 3 months from now…but it will happen!
Disciplinary cases have a very limited scope of what evidence is admissible. The hearing will focus on an attorney’s mental state and fitness to practice. Exposing alleged wrongs of others would have to somehow be related to the case/attorney’s mental state. Also noteworthy is the legal profession is the only profession in this country that is completely self regulating and self governing. No outside players allowed. (One rationale being outsiders would eliminate the judiciary’s neutrality. Buttress that against the fact that state judges are elected and are ‘unofficially’ endorsed by a particular party.). Some have argued that self regulation is a bad thing or should at least be minimized, but I doubt that will happen. In any event, I’ll keep my eyes on Lin’s situation. Don’t think any lawyer would feel calm about this one.

Very true re: both outcomes. But, if it goes forward, self regulation also allows them to seal everything so there would be no record of why or how or what. Or their could be redactions, potentially. I don’t know GA specifically but, if it’s just Lin giving a recount to the world of what happened - it’s just his word with nothing else.
