I wish i could reduce videos so easily. Video editing programs reduce videos but nobody sets up programs to reduce videos to under 16mgs - our limit on 8. Sometimes just opening a vid in a program in order to reduce the size seems to add a few megs to the file.

can u guise (or anybody else) envision how we would use the password function in the new fullchan bin app? Explained to Jim how we use passwords to generate tripcodes so anons can verify who is baking (or at least if it's the person with the same pw). But the function in fullchan is different. Only those who have the pw can open the file. But how would that be used on 8 (at least, by bakers)? We use bins to pass pastes or other info to anyone who needs it.
I'm testing pastebin to see how it's "feelin'" today.

i put that post there coz often, newfags feel like they don't know enough to make a contribution - or that it wouldn't be welcome.
i was jokin with ya recently about starting a "school for planefags"

if you want to, you could post something about learning to planefag as a way to contribute - explain a little about what it is, why we do it, and what skills or equipment (if any) are needed.
I could do prolly do something like that, but you could do it better.

Deaths of Elderly Who Recovered From COVID-19, but Died After Vaccine, Raise Questions

Two small clusters of deaths after COVID-19 vaccination have been reported among nursing homes in Kentucky and Arkansas.
In Kentucky, four seniors died the same day of their vaccination on Dec. 30, 2020. Three of the four who passed away reportedly already had had coronavirus prior to getting vaccinated.
In Arkansas, four seniors died at a long term care facility about a week after their vaccination. All tested positive for COVID-19 after vaccination.
The deaths are reported in a federal database called VAERS, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.
Deaths after vaccination don’t necessarily mean the vaccine is to blame. Of those receiving coronavirus vaccines, many are elderly and frail, or already suffering from serious illnesses. That makes it difficult to know whether there’s a connection.

Capitol Police Officers Issue Vote of No Confidence in Acting Chief and Leadership
Members of the US Capitol Police have issued a vote of no confidence in their acting chief and other top leadership.
The rank and file officers passed votes of no confidence in acting Chief Yoganada Pittman, two assistant chiefs, three deputy chiefs and a captain in the Capitol building division.
The vote began on Thursday afternoon and continued for 24 hours, so that three shifts of officers could vote during work. Only officers represented by the rank and file union were permitted to vote.
The chief issued a statement claiming that there has been “progress” since the Capitol takeover on January 6, in which officers were not prepared at all for a large demonstration.
“It’s been just over one month since one of our nation’s darkest days, and the trauma is still incredibly raw and difficult for the many officers who fought heroically on the 6th,” Chief Pittman said in a statement obtained by CNN. “Since being sworn in on January 8th, my executive team and I have made the well-being of our officers our top priority. While progress has been made, more work remains. And I am committed to ensuring every officer gets what they need and deserve.”
Capitol Police officers told CNN that they were left vulnerable on the 6th and that they do not believe the current leadership will be able to properly manage these kinds of situations in the future.

Good to be aware of your surroundings. and it's quite possible that these are pedo symbols. But also to realize that most of the time, when used as pedo symbols, they are more specific, for example, as to color - blue triangles and pink spirals.

Hearts, spirals and triangles are universal symbols - show up everywhere. as some have observed, DS takes them and uses them for their own purposes.

Senate had voted in favor of witnesses in Trump's second impeachment trial, but both sides later agreed to proceed with closing arguments for up to 4 hours

The fifth day of former President Donald Trump's impeachment trial began with a surprise as senators voted 55-45 on Saturday to call witnesses but later moved to closing arguments.
Republican Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Ben Sasse of Nebraska, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina voted with Democrats to subpoena witnesses and documents.
"This is a political theater, and I think the House managers were feeling heat on their left flank," Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz said. "At this point, nobody knows what's going to happen."
Trump's defense had up to 16 hours to present their case on Friday but used less than 4 hours. Senators had up to 4 hours to question both sides after Trump's defense presented. The questioning lasted for more than 2 hours.
On Saturday before the vote to call witnesses, Trump defense lawyer Michael van der Veen called on senators to "close this case out today." He said the House managers included 100 people in their case who were arrested after the riot took place. Before the Senate voted in favor of witnesses, van der Veen said he would need 100 depositions and an ample amount of time to do the "investigation" that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hasn't done yet.
"This entire proceeding is based on rumor, report, innuendo," he said. "There's nothing to it."
Maryland Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin, lead impeachment manager, said Trump should testify in the impeachment trial. He also said Republican Washington Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler should testify about the statement she issued regarding House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy's conversation with Trump on the day of the riot.
Trump's defense and the impeachment managers eventually agreed to enter Herrera Beutler's statement into trial evidence. Trump's defense and the House impeachment managers had no further motions and moved to closing arguments for up to 4 hours.
In his closing argument, Raskin called Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney a "hero" for voting to impeach Trump and "resisting" a "retaliatory cancel culture that she was subjected to" when the Republican conference voted on whether to keep her in a leadership role. She was ultimately not stripped of her position as conference chair.
Senators are expected to take a vote of guilty or not guilty on the incitement of insurrection article of impeachment.

School closures, masks until 2022: Biden campaign promises appear increasingly in doubt
President Joe Biden's administration appears to be subtly backing off several key COVID promises Biden made while on the campaign trail, potentially suggesting a re-alignment of strategy amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Biden in December vowed that, assuming "strong public health measures" were in place, his administration would "work to see that the majority of our schools can be open by the end of my first 100 days."
Yet guidance released this week offered a more tempered version of that bold pledge. The CDC's reopening guidelines stipulate that schools in areas of high COVID transmission should consider switching to "virtual only instruction" unless administrators in those areas "can strictly implement all mitigation strategies," including physical distancing requirements and "universal and correct use of masks."
The logistics of ensuring hundreds of students constantly obey hardline mask rules while remaining six feet apart at all times could prove too difficult for many schools. As CNN noted this week, nearly 100% of U.S. students are in high "red zone" transmission areas under those guidelines.
Further indicating a re-assessment of executive COVID ambitions, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki this week claimed that Biden's "goal" is for "the majority of schools, so more than 50 percent, open by day 100 of his presidency."
Psaki clarified that she was defining an "open" school as "at least one day a week," though she conceded: "Hopefully it’s more."
Elsewhere Biden has suggested that the U.S. may continue wearing face masks much longer than he initially proposed. On the campaign trail Biden pledged to "ask" Americans to wear face masks for the first 100 days of his presidency, something he claimed could help bring the pandemic under control.
Data indicate that nine out of 10 Americans already regularly wear masks, but Biden numerous times stressed the importance of his voluntary mask proposal.
Yet this week he indicated that masking requirements may continue for much longer. Speaking to reporters at the National Institutes of Health, Biden refused to remove his mask even though he was standing about 10 feet away from the press, nearly double the standard "social distancing" recommendation.
