Cherokee County, GEORGIA — A suspected gunman was taken into custody after 8 people were killed at area massage parlors in the metro Atlanta-area Tuesday.
There is a massive police response in the area.
Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant told CBS46 that four females, all believed to be Asian, were fatally shot at two spas on Piedmont NE in Atlanta—three victims were found at Gold Spa and one was found at Aromatherapy Spa.
Earlier in the day, three people were killed at a spa in Woodstock, according to reports. It has not been confirmed if the shootings are connected.
A suspect in at least one of the shootings, 21-year-old Robert Long, was taken into custody, according to local media.
