Seattle Tax payers taken for another ride.

The city of Seattle has backdoor funded 132 million dollars to purchase properties in North Seattle and are building 100s of tiny homes. These tiny homes will be located in the most crime ridden areas of north Seattle including the infamous corner of 125th and Aurora. This shell game is being run by AURORA HEIGHTS HOUSING LLLP a registered for profit company . https://www.washingtoncompany.net/companies/604692484/

These “tiny homes’ will cost tax payers around $100,000 per unit and each village between $500,000 to $1,000,000 per year to operate. False information is that these units cost only $2,500 to $4,500. That is simply not true. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2020-12-12/los-angeles-tiny-homes-homeless

AURORA HEIGHTS HOUSING LLLP purchase the property using Tax payers funds for around $6,000,000 before fees.

This alone puts the property cost per unit at $120,000 per tiny house.

The area of Aurora is one of the most dangerous in Seattle with multiple homicides per month and openly high volume prostitution and drug dealing. These tiny villages are magnets for unscrupulous people looking to profit off of the situation. Neighborhoods near these encampments experience jumps in property crimes and other tent cities will pop up near these tiny villages due to the services offered inside the villages.
