Cuba’s diplomatic missions websites DOWN across the world - claims of massive DDoS attack since 11 July.

Amid allegations that the Cuban government was restricting access to the internet to prevent protests from spreading, the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs is claiming it's been under a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack since July 11.

The cyberattack comes from abroad, with what appears to be IP addresses from the U.S., Turkey, and Europe generating access requests.

Cuba's websites for diplomatic missions throughout the world are down and currently not accessible due to the attack.

The Cuban government claims the attack compromised their servers. “These actions are part of the cyber and communication war that is generated against Cuba,” the Foreign Ministry stated on Twitter.
