EO 13467 established a Suitability and Security Clearance Performance Accountability Council and enlisted the Office of Management and Budget with assistance from the Director of National Intelligence to head up background checks for the federal government and those with access to classified information.

Trumps EO 13869 transferred that to the Department of Defense (THE MILITARY).

Al-Qaeda chief – believed DEAD – appears in video marking 20-year anniversary of 9/11 attacks (Report)

In an hour-long speech, Ayman al-Zawahiri – who succeeded Osama bin Laden following his demise in 2011 – praised al-Qaeda attacks, including one from January 2021 that targeted Russian troops in Syria, according to SITE Intelligence Group, which tracks jihadist movements online.

Rumours of al-Zawahiri’s death had surfaced in November 2020 – his new clip, posted by al-Qaeda’s official media arm As-Sahab, dispelling those reports when he referenced events in 2021.

However, speculations remain over his existence. The clip entitled “Jerusalem will not be Judaized” only offers proof al-Zawahiri’s was alive until January, according to the SITE monitoring group – the al-Qaeda leader completely failing to mention the the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan.
