make your own /rock/ or /gem/ or /whatevernameyouwant/ board

there used to be a board where all users would congregate to promote their individuated boards which they made, before /dir/ was created

5 images per post and you can create any board you want and pretty much find (used to be able to find) a board for any content which you want to discuss.

also, each board has its own unique culture, lingo, and sometimes different rule sets

this is exactly why the board for announcing your super niche board was created before /dir/ but sadly it lost over /dir/ - because /dir/ was more well maintained than the announcing board and also it wasn't xfered over to the now-renamed 8kun.

I get sincere and very lengthy with religious debates and, nearly every time, another thread would pop up which attacked everything I said and then either "another poster" would say the exact same thing and be on a controlled narrative demolition course with three other posters who would attack the "another poster" and try to pick it apart. If I kept to both threads, then suddenly and magically either thread was subject to random deletions as well as, if I said too much or was too strong, I'd get a warning or ban for "off-topic posts". It was very clear that religious debates are vastly contested by powers that be.
