Well that didn’t take long…

I am not a boomer and I also don’t believe (or not believe) in Q. Who knows! But I do know weird s#it’s happening the likes of which I have never seen in my lifetime. As for Q, I’ll believe it when I see it, for now it remains just another rabbit trail. My prediction is far left and right will discover both have been played by a third someone/something that’s not clear where it’s coming from, in the middle. Once they realize it, the two will join forces and see it for what it is. I guess we’ll see…

The name escapes me but I have grown those before and they are really pretty. If it freezes where you live you can put them in the garage or somewhere cool but where it won’t freeze over winter and they’ll come back year after year. Or if you forget to bring them in until it snows (like I did) they won’t. Duh-oh.

I suppose there’s no way to mute someone here? Actually it’s cool, different viewpoints are often illuminating. I’m game… what’s the story racoon?

>1130 I am not a Republican or a democrat. I have always been an independent. I’d be a libertarian except I know all to well there’s always someone who would mess that up. I think they are all crooked, or most, both sides. You may not think there are problems, and that’s fine, but it wasn’t until my govt. said I was nonessential and took away my livelihood for “14 days” that still haven’t ended two years later that made me contrarian, and I would say justifiably so. I was actually all in on the 14 days, until about day 90, when I wrote to my state reps, and all replied (if they replied at all, “Sorry, nothing we can do.” I knew then and data shows now that did NOTHING to slow the spread but a whole swath of people were basically sacrificed “for the greater good” and NOBODY CARED if it wasn’t happening to them. And there was NOTHING those deemed “nonessential” could do, no appeal process. And it went from there. The govt. broke their side of the deal with those who did agree to a short term shutdown that then turned into whatever this is. And the thing is, if the govt. can do it to me, they can do it to you, or to anyone. That should make everybody pause. And it should end ASAP and never be able to happen again. I will not support any of the reps who refused to represent those stuck in that or to stand up for us, or even listen. They still got paid. It’s unjust, and it’s getting worse. Maybe you disagree but I am not just somebody being difficult just to be difficult. They lost my trust. It’s up to them to regain it but two years later I still don’t see a single person in my state on any level of any branch saying, “hey wait a minute, is this absolutely necessary?” I don’t want to rise up against our govt. except in the ballot box. And I want to be sure that is being counted as cast, too. Because it matters. Maybe that’s contrarian but believe it or not all I want is for things to function as described, in the constitution, for EVERYONE. My opposing it, others opposing it, actually protects you and others from the same happening to you the next time the govt. declares an emergency. Because you know what, everything isn’t fine. In fact we are teetering on an economic cliff that will affect EVERYONE. When the dollar isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on, don’t blame me anyway. I have been and am trying to get people to see we’re going to go belly up from all this and once that happens, there won’t be any putting the toothpaste back in the tube then. If it’s not too late already. There’s no way the past two years isn’t going to come back to bite everyone, including those who might be sitting pretty and not feeling it now. And not just in America, but worldwide.

One last thought, just in general, aimed at nobody, if it does turn out that there were some who knowingly perpetrated what’s happened these past two years for their own gain, regardless of the price others paid, and it’s proven in a court of law, I won’t feel sorry for them if THEY are the ones who end up losing everything/owning nothing, and I wouldn’t care one bit if they were happy about it, or not! Because it would serve them right!

Ironically putting myself and others out of work gave us nothing but time to research what was going on. I never would have had the time before! But it is still not ok and we need to be sure it never happens again. If people want to stay home by choice fine, but this society wide thing, imposed by govt. No.
