Those Dutch farmers could starve the population into revolt, the problem is the corrupted government wants the population to starve so they can weaken and cull the masses. This is old fashion gulag tactics.
Well for one, you can prepare for this to be common all throughout Europe, prepare for it in advance so you can feed yourself during their manufactured "shortages". And you can support grassroots people running in local and state elections to throw out corrupted incumbents who supported this. Otherwise join the protest or continue complaining online.
