All of us own guns, and there is a gun in nearly every room, especially in bedrooms. Not to mention the entry-point fortification. By the time you started kicking the door you'd be facing gun fire.
And not to mention getting passed the downed trees from the gravel road after SHTF. The minute we get confirmation during a grid-down scenario of SHTF, we have a small network of like-minded folks around the area including myself who will be sawing down trees to block the main road passages.
By the way, this is a common tactic done when guerilla wars break out. Communities will often deliberately sabotage roads so no one from the outside can easily come in. I suspect it's happening in many places in Ukraine as I type this.
