LA & Hollywood Hills Burns In Arson Attacks As Mayor Stares Into Stupor Abyss

It is said that people get the government they vote for. Congratulations Los Angeles voters, you did a bang-up job electing this thing as Mayor.

Sky News Reporter David Blevins happened to be on a Flight to Los Angeles when he ran into Mayor Karen Bass who was returning from her trip to Ghana while Los Angeles burned from Wildfires. He utterly skewered her with simple, direct questions, The Mayor stood completely silent, unable to answer ANY of them!

Apparently, Mayor Karen Bass is what is commonly referred to as an "NPC" - a Non-Playable-Character.

It's a term from video games which describes an aspect of the game wherein the player encounters a thing that cannot be interacted with, cannot be reasoned with, cannot think. Instead, the thing merely does whatever it's program tells it to do.

Mayor Bass apparently had no programming to answer the Reporter's questions. Whoever wrote or controls her mental program, apparently didn't provide enough processing power for Bass to answer impromptu questions or even change her facial expression. Since she had no pre-written/programmed script, she seemed unable to interact or respond.

How is it the Mayor couldn't say something like: "I've just gotten back and have to be briefed on the situation, I will speak with the Press later today." or "My heart is broken over what's happening, I feel so terrible and will be helping as much as I can now that I'm back."

Instead, the Mayor said NOTHING. Apparently, her little mind could not cope with being asked questions that she had not been programmed to respond to. In fact, her mind seemed unable to even change her facial expression!

How did Voters in Los Angeles choose this to be Mayor? Or are the Voters in Los Angeles as empty headed as their Mayor seemed to be? That would explain a lot.

For instance, it might explain how Mayor Bass CUT the budget of the Los Angeles Fire Department by a reported $17.9 MILLION just this past September!

It may also explain how Los Angeles and specifically Pacific Palisades, situated literally on the coastline of the Pacific Ocean, found themselves running out of water. How do you run out of water for fire fighting when you've got the largest Ocean on earth 200 feet away?

No Diesel-powered pumps to draft water from the sea? The typical fire engine can pump about 1500 gallons per minute!

Hollywood's biggest celebrities are picking up the pieces after discovering their affluent neighborhood was reduced to ash and rubble when the California wildfires tore though Pacific Palisades.

The homes of Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman and Miles Teller among those destroyed, while dozens of other Hollywood movie and TV stars now face an anxious wait alongside their neighbors to learn if anything could be saved.

Residents fled and then waited with bated breath to learn more about their homes, as news began trickling out that entire streets had been wiped off the map, firefighters were running out of water, and resources were being diverted to fight the fire on multiple fronts.

Now, the widespread devastation is becoming clearer as celebrities share their devastation upon discovering they've lost their multi-million-dollar mansions.

Not one word from LA Mayor Karen Bass about the situation.

“Do you owe citizens an apology for being absent whilst their homes were burning? Do you regret cutting the fire department's budget?”

@skydavidblevins questions the mayor of LA, Karen Bass, as she faces backlash regarding the California wildfires.

Every year, it’s the same story. California burns, and fingers are pointed in every direction, climate, drought, winds. But let’s stop dancing around the real issue: forest management (or lack thereof).

For decades, California’s approach has been one of neglect. Overgrown brush, dead trees, and poor preventative measures are essentially tinder waiting for a spark. Add to that bureaucratic red tape that makes proper clearing and controlled burns almost impossible, and you’ve got a recipe for disaster.

You see folks, bad policy can have very awful consequences! Bad leadership can get people hurt and killed! The voters of California are learning this today….. THE HARD WAY.

Not one word from LA Mayor Karen Bass about the situation. Many call for her to be recalled immediately for slashing the fire fighter budgets and lack of leadership.

Fire Chief complained to the LA Mayor last month about budget cuts limiting her dept. The funds were diverted to help aid illegal migration policy.

“The LA fires look like Terrorism… These places are miles apart… Are you supposed to believe that wind teleports a fire miles away but no where in between?” one X use said.

  1. Palisades

  2. Pasadena

  3. Sunset

  4. Studio City

These places are miles apart.

This is why Californians pay the highest taxes: So that their government can completely fail them in their time of need.

L.A. Fire Chief Kristin Crowley warned Mayor Karen Bass (D) last month the $17+ million she cut from the department's budget "severely limited the department's capacity to prepare for, train for, and respond to large-scale emergencies, including wildfires"

“So here's what's going to happen. All these people who are deep blue Democrats are now going to have to pull a permit to rebuild, and they're going to get the 28 year old bitch from the Coastal Commission telling them to go fuck off and then they're going to vote for Trump or whoever's Trumpian next.

When they start getting the regulation, they're going to go nuts. And when they start running into the bureaucracy and the red tape, they're going to start going nuts and they're going to vote for Rick Caruso next time.

They're going to find out they're going to get bit by their own snake. They're going to convert. I am telling you, these are the bluest people on the planet and they're going to be fucking rip shit pissed when the City and the Coastal Commission tell them to fuck off.”

The Los Angeles wildfires were orchestrated by the globalist elite to poison the air, water and soil, and redistribute property into the hands of a few corrupt oligarchs.

The despotic global "elite" have chosen Los Angeles as Ground Zero for a calculated assault on the people, paving the way for the rapid transformation of the disaster zone into 15-minute cities. These so-called “smart cities” are nothing more than vast outdoor prisons, designed to trap ordinary citizens with no way out.

This evil plan has been in the works for years, and now we are seeing it play out in all its grisly details before our very eyes.

Now the land grab begins – and the despotic criminal scumbags, led by WEF partners Blackrock and Vanguard, are leading the charge to acquire the land and begin building new 15-minute cities.

In the months ahead, land owned by families for generations will be ripped away from them, stolen right from beneath their charred homes. And to add insult to injury, FEMA will offer them $70 as compensation.

The criminals are brazen. They are not even trying to pretend this wasn’t a giant set up.

Governor Newsom blocked the release of vital water from mountain reservoirs, depriving firefighters of a critical resource. For over two decades, Democrats have refused to maintain fire mitigation systems or clear brush from high-risk areas, allowing these tinderboxes to grow unchecked.

Meanwhile, the Biden regime just imposed a no-fly zone over LA, grounding state and local firefighting aircraft in the midst of the inferno.

Adding insult to injury, LA’s newly appointed DEI-focused fire chief openly stated her priority was enforcing diversity quotas — not fighting fires or managing disasters. This same chief supported slashing $17.5 million from the fire department’s budget.

Where is Mayor Karen Bass, you ask? She was in Ghana on a tax-payer funded junket while her city burned, refusing to address the crisis or even acknowledge the displaced victims upon her return.

To top it off, the LA City Council has spent the last two years diverting a significant portion of the firefighting budget — and even equipment — to Ukraine, leaving their own city woefully unprepared for this disaster.

Of course, Gavin Newsom has wasted no time blaming climate change, a more than convenient narrative for his Commiefornia government.

Just like before 9/11, major insurance companies seemed to know exactly what was coming, perfectly aligning their plans and pulling policies just before the fires devastated Los Angeles.

Insurance companies have now admitted to canceling fire policies on hundreds of thousands of homes in the Los Angeles area over the past few months, leaving countless families vulnerable and unprotected.

This isn’t negligence, it’s a betrayal. And according to a WEF insider, its all by design and there is much worse to come.

There are a number of specific lessons we can draw from the Los Angeles fires, but the over-arching one is that Democrats are no longer capable of governing. Let's look at some of the specific lessons first, and then let Bernie Sanders demonstrate why he and his party should never be put in charge of anything again.

Lesson #1: In matters of life and death decision making, hire based solely on merit… not Marxist DEI fantasy politics.'''

The Los Angeles City Fire Department has an entire "equity" bureau which hopes to "advance DEI within the fire service." Last year, LAFD cut $7 million from the overtime budget, which impacted air operations and disaster response, but kept the DEI department. Insane.

— Christopher F. Rufo (@realchrisrufo) January 9, 2025

Lesson #2: If you are the mayor of Los Angeles, don't go to Africa when you have been warned that your city is at risk of disaster.

Details and timeline here… https://twitter.com/lhfang/status/1877441609748390329

Lesson #3: Elect people based on experience and competency, not Marxist DEI gender/race non-sense. It's worth noting that conservatives fall prey to this thinking too, sometimes.

Maybe someone with administrative experience would be better than a political commentator.

Lesson #4: Especially if you are in an arid climate, fill your reservoirs when you have the opportunity.

  1. Gavin Newsom diverts 100 billion gallons of water per year away from Southern California and instead dumps it into the Pacific ocean to save delta smelt fish.

  1. Newsom has failed to build reservoirs as required by law.

https://twitter.com/JunkScience/status/1877333371950362707

Lesson #5: Again, especially if you are in an arid climate, clear underbrush in your forests (often, the most practical way to do this is with controlled burns, burning off the kindling before it piles up).

"You've got to take care of the floors." Trump told Newsom years ago to clear out underbrush to prevent fires.

Lesson #6: Enforce laws against vagrancy. There are many reasons to do this, starting with making cities more pleasant, but there's also a safety factor, as bums often set fires.

California fires, often started by mentally ill vagrants, rage because of Democrat policies that restricted forest management and water storage and specifically cut funding for fire departments. But, sure, more top down control by the idiots who created this is the solution. For every problem, leftists propose the least effective solutions.

During the George Floyd “Summer of Love” antifa and Black Lives Matter marched through Windsor Farms, no doubt to protest against “nice stuff,” preferring everyone to live in graffiti ridden squalor as a measurement of social justice fairness. I wrote at the time that if any of these Georgian mansions were given to any of these neo-Marxist protestors, within 6 months all the windows in the house would be busted out, there would be broken glass and 3-foot-high grass in the front yard, and the mechanical systems would all be trashed. The same is true with a city. Give these types of people the keys to any city and in short order, the city, just like the free house, will be destroyed. They are incapable of taking care of anything.

Here in Richmond, we just went through nearly 3 days with no municipal water. Now, we have to go through 2-3 days of not being allowed to drink the water coming from our taps. Several hundred thousand people in a major metropolitan area with hospitals, manufacturing plants, universities, nursing homes, and millions of square feet of office space had no water. It’s third world. Our race hustling, low IQ Marxist mayor hired a DEI candidate to run the Department of Utilities, the first time ever a non-engineer held that post. Her major initiative was hiring other DEI candidates to work for Public Utilities. Incompetent boobs, hire other incompetent boobs and before you know it, there are more boobs than the runway at the Bada-Bing.

Los Angeles is burning down. The government incompetence there is extraordinary. LA has its own DEI problems. Its fire chief was hired because she is an outspoken lesbian. Her initiative has been to hire more women and LGBTQ firefighters. Yep, I want a 99 lb mentally ill woman who thinks she’s man pulling me out of a burning fire! Who wouldn’t?

As bad as DEI is, what’s worse is the political class that initiates DEI policies. There should never ever be any reason to vote anybody into office that has not had a career in real world practicalities. Community activists, academics, government apparatchiks, non-profit do-gooders, clinicians, blah, blah, they generally know nothing other than the au courant platitudes of the bougie Bolshevik chattering class. In Richmond, 8 of our 9 council members are women, and the one man is a soy boy. Have any of these folks ever crawled under a house to fix a leaky pipe, changed the oil in a car, operated earth moving equipment or walked a police officer’s beat at 2 am in the morning? Have any of them started a business from the ground up and hired and fired dozens of employees? No.

Hundreds of Los Angeles Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Rescue Vehicles Sitting in LAFD Repair Yard, UNREPAIRED

With the outbreak of wildfires plaguing Los Angeles, many people are asking why the city/county does not seem to have the resources to fight them. Turns out, HUNDREDS of fire engines, Hook & Ladder Trucks, Ambulances, and other emergency vehicles, are sitting unrepaired in a big parking lot.

This week, a Journalist went to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Bureau of Supply and Maintenance, to see how many fire trucks are sitting there, broken, waiting for repair. There are no words to describe what he video recorded.

Literally HUNDREDS of emergency vehicles, many of them Fire Engines, many others Hook & Ladder Trucks, are all just sitting…. waiting to be repaired. Millions of dollars worth of equipment meant to save lives and property, sidelined, unusable, helping no one. Seems like everyone involved in LA & CA state government does their job poorly and no one cares.

In fact, LAFD Chief Crowley testified some time ago that roughly 20% of LAFD’s fleet was out of service. In recent remarks, she said the $17M+ budget cut caused the department to lose civilian mechanics who repaired its out-of-service vehicles. That Budget cut took place in September, 2024 under Mayor Karen Bass.

LAFD Chief Crowley is reportedly a Lesbian, a "DEI" hire. "Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity." According to multiple sources inside the LAFD, the Chief has been relentless in pushing her DEI agenda. Apparently, repairing broken-down fire trucks is not as big a priority as DEI.

It gets worse. In the news conference, the LAFD chief stated they had 100 rigs out of service.

The entire LAFD fleet is only ~185 trucks/engines. So over half their fleet was down at the time of the fire. And if they are running without mechanics due to budget cuts, those numbers will get worse as the lack of maintenance breaks more rigs.

Fire Chief also said they had to cut Mechanic’s when they cut $17+ million from the budget. She went on to say there’s over 100 trucks waiting for repair. That's more than HALF of the Los Angeles Fire Department apparatus!
