"European heathen heritage" is "European" as it is because it was raised around European nature. The difference between the several Indo-European pagan religions is because they were all raised around a different environment, for example, eastern Anatolian paganism would be far different to Norse paganism, which is actually closer to Finnish paganism which isn't even Indo-European at all.
