I took that class my 2nd year at the U. It was mostly a waste of time and money. I've learned so much more about religion on my own. In fact I was still at the U when I found and printed out Ethan Allen's Reason which utterly demolished any lingering doubt regarding my rejection of my egalitarian Christian upbringing, what he calls "revealed" religion.

Allen's a "Deist" basically but his critique of superstition, "miracles" etc, aka the theology of his time, is solid. Solid enough for me to eternally flush the childish fantasies that were infecting my mind.
