Actually, if you take geneticist as a faction rather than a definition, there’s no reason to expect the geneticist faction to disproportionately include the intelligence. Oh, it will in the long-run, but in the mid-term the people with the most to gain from the rise of a powerful geneticist faction would be the genetically disadvantaged. They have the most to gain. That favors essentially the dumbest people smart enough to grasp that they have much to gain. And if there’s one thing you can sell the poor, it’s lottery tickets… hehehe, unlike other lotteries, participation can even be made a statistically favorable course of action!
