The soyjacks are dehumanized characterizations of man. One of the most common, the ACK, is directly celebrating suicide.

I'm no stranger to the old ways of gore threads, china REKT videos, total nigger death, and the like. But if I had to give a super shitty metaphor, these were expressing "one area of life's encroachment upon another", be it race A vs. B, or Man vs. Physics (lol), or the like.

Soyjacks take it in a weird direction and seem like they're avoiding life itself.

Anime is also "just a drawing", but its portrayals attempt to maintain a sort of respect for, lacking a better word, "reality".
