that had already been going on for years, and if the feds already had access to 4chan's metadata then thiel would as well via palantir/apollo. Don't see how outright ownership would bring any new advantages to him
Why would he need to own 4chan to do that? For the past 6 years or so shills on /pol/ have been pushing the people who he has funded. I don't know specifically you have in mind, but there is a 90% chance they have taken money from thiel or his associates or one his companies like founder's fund.to analogize, thiel buying 4chan would be equivalent to Nathan Rothschild becoming the King of England; it is just unnecessary red tape
