I very much know kids that call anyone older than 40 a boomer. Boomers were under educated and over exposed to Television. You wouldn't believe how many boomers I've experienced that watch TV all day and talk shit about their families.
It makes me sad, not angry.
This phenomena is very real.
I tried explain to a boomer that when I made 100k a year in the early 2000s I was making LESS than someone in the 80s making 60k a year while paying DOUBLE what they paid in taxes and 5x as much for a house.
They couldn't comprehend it. They can't comprehend that a single income can't support a family of 5 while making a house payment anymore.
It's unreal how much Sway the TV has over their minds.
I'm not disagreeing with any of this beyond one point–it started way before 1970.
Before 1913 we had competition in banking and competition in currency and the Federal Reserve act obliterated both those things. Once the Central Bank took full control of currency and banking they started funneling money into the Oligarchy away from the citizens.
It didn't start in 1913 though, at the end of the Spanish American war in 1900 for the first time ever the sitting president, McKinley decided to NOT disband the standing federal Army in violation of Article 1, Section 8, Clause 12 of the constitution.
The generation before the boomers should have never ever allowed the US to fight in WW1 or WW2 because it was against the American ethos to meddle in the affairs of other countries.
The generation before that should have never ever given up their Gold in the Gold confiscations and there should have been politicians swinging from lamp posts for allowing the formation of the third central bank.
The generations before that obliterated the mid west and west coast old growth and wetlands for the profits of the corporations and Oligarchs and still to this day people lie about the necessity of obliterating the environment to advance society–it was the Oligarchs that benefited.
The boomers get the brunt of the blame because their behavior is the most recent and most obvious but the slow burn of the materialist demon worshipers goes back throughout history which is why modern history is a fabrication and the demon worshipers run media and education–to hide their crimes.
Fair take. Boomers were the ones who took the US off the gold standard (ended the Bretton woods Agreement) and sided with Israel over our Arab Allies in OPEC even though it was obvious Israel was the one stirring the shit and deserved to get shit stomped… Ironically the Arabs didn't even want to shit stomp them they just wanted to embargo them.
Social security was created so corporations could foist off retirement funds and pensions off onto society. The government loved social security because they could use it as a source of income while skimming off the top.
Without currency devaluation and a corrupt health system (affordable care is not now nor will it ever by the same as (((Health insurance))) Social security would be totally unnecessary.
Modern social security is just a dishonest name given to an income tax. When the government deficit spends all income goes to paying the deficit–regardless of the excuse they use to take it.
The entire financial situation of the government isn't funded by taxes: the debt obligation taken by the government in the form of taxes is collateral for people's willingness to work to pay taxes. People working for fake money that is inflated endlessly is the only thing of value–social security is a lie.
