Stop blaming those who worked their entire lives who demand they get the money they were promised to get. The real blame should go to the owners of the ponzi scheme, in this case the central bank and the corrupted politicians who created this ponzi scheme. If the government promises social security pay they should be liable to keep paying it out. Got a problem with the system? Then they can stop it for the newer generations and let the newer generations keep whatever they earn and not pay into it. At some point everyone old will die and no one who is younger will be contributing to a ponzi scheme, win-win.

Pretty much THIS.

While every generation is rightfully trying to look out for themselves, most of us plebs just go along to get along. That's always been the problem. If newer generations have more courage not to just 'go along to get along' there won't be many more problems in the future.

As long as the promises are being kept, and workers are being compensated for their contributions, it's not really a ponzi scheme. The minute you cut that off it becomes a ponzi scheme. The blame should absolutely go to governments and banks that decide to cut it off and break their promises.

So, how about capping Social Security to older generations currently promised? Young folks won't be forced to pay into it, and it will phase out. That, or there will be a political hellstorm to pay, and if they thought Trump was bad…. wew!!
