Soros Spending $1 Million To Stop Effort to Hire More Police in Austin

Left-wing billionaire George Soros is dumping as much as $1 million into an anti-police effort in the Texas capital of Austin as the city attempts to hire more officers amid shortages that are putting the public at risk.
According to campaign finance documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon, “the Hungarian-born political activist gave $500,000 through the Soros-backed Open Society Policy Center to a political action committee in opposition to a ballot initiative that forces the city to employ two police officers per 1,000 residents.”
“Soros’s donation, made on Oct. 12, is his second of the month and comes as Austin experiences a decades-high spike in violent crime,” the outlet continued, noting that there have been at least 67 homicides this year in the city, the highest number since 1981, while aggravated assaults have gone up by 10 percent after spiking again last year by 20 percent.

On Oct. 1, the Open Society Policy Center cut its first $500,000 check to Equity PAC, a Texas-based political organization that backs left-wing causes. The donation is the latest example of Soros’s involvement in various left-wing causes at the local level. In 2020, Soros donated over $600,000 to a Texas-based left-wing group that backed the election of José Garza, who now serves as district attorney for Travis County, where Austin sits.
Since 2015, Soros has spent more than $17 million on various local races, including donations to left-wing prosecutors and state legislators. Virtually every candidate backed by Soros and the Open Society Foundations has supported a dramatic reduction in or elimination of cash bail and other policies critics say lead to higher crime.

Doctor ejected from his US hospital for not being jabbed vows to keep fighting for medical freedom
Dr Chris Rake, a respected anesthesiologist at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) hospital was escorted by security guards out of the hospital because he is unvaccinated against Covid-19. Vid went viral last week.
California has mandated that all healthcare workers must be vaccinated, otherwise, they will lose their jobs. The cut-off was October 1 and Dr. Rake was later that day sent an email stating that, from October 4, he would be placed on unpaid administrative leave.
The doctor, who has been qualified for 16 years and worked at UCLA for 11 years, treated it as a normal working day. “Next thing I know the chair of my department showed up with two security guys, and they walked me out of the building,” he tells me. “You probably couldn’t tell from the video, but I was some of the most nervous I’ve ever been in my whole life, my legs were shaking. I was going down the stairs and I could hardly keep my legs underneath me. I was so in shock, a place I love and a job I’ve committed my life to, they are just walking me out for being unvaccinated.”
Dr. Rake’s opposition to mandatory vaccines had earlier seen him create a group called Citizens United for Freedom (CUFF).
It was initially focused on opposing mandatory flu jabs, but morphed into focusing on Covid-19. So his stance was not news to his employers. “I was vocal and public about my opposition to mandating medical procedures,” Dr. Rake explains. “Our group is not anti-vaccine, we have some vaccinated people… our group is pro-medical freedom, ‘your body, your choice’, ‘my body, my choice’.”

CIA Built Escape Gate Near Kabul Airport for V.I.P. Evacuees

The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) allegedly used a secret escape gate near Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport to help high-priority evacuees gain entry to the airport and flee Kabul as the Taliban seized control of Afghanistan in August, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported Wednesday.
The U.S. intelligence agency used the gate “to smuggle out priority cases for the CIA, including intelligence assets, local agents and their families and a list of high-importance cases sent from the White House,” WSJ revealed on October 6.
The CIA constructed the secret passageway roughly two miles away from the heart of Kabul’s airport “along the northern perimeter of the airfield,” according to the newspaper.
The gate stood opposite a gas station and was operated by the CIA and U.S. Delta Force operatives. The secret path was guarded by a “C.I.A.-trained Afghan paramilitary unit known as 02, who evacuated alongside the Americans in the final flights,” WSJ detailed.
The CIA and its allies used code names to refer to the portal, including “Glory Gate” and “Liberty Gate,” according to the newspaper.
“The makeshift entrance was created out of Hesco barriers, barbed wire and concrete blast walls that were moved by forklift to provide a layer of protection to the operatives at the entrance,” WSJ noted.
