That sounded REAL familiar - from the Information Warfare dig that started from a q drop in Dec 2018 (see very bottom section).
This "research center' is part of a DISINFO NETWORK that goes after Q groups and anybody else they don't like with lotsa glitz and very few facts. Did a four-part dig on the WAPO article - one of the groups it discussed was run by JOAN DONOVAN, who is now Director of the Shorenstein Center. Remembered her as an exceptionally obese female with very little cred.

When i was digging on the "misinformation" network, the common theme was always to disguise political propaganda as based on scientific facts. Many of the people involved either have mediocre academic credentials or are unappealing as leaders (e.g., Joan Donovan) but can be useful to Soros-type groups as pseudo-scientists. Atlantic Council's DFR Lab is another example of one of these groups. Same with the Institute for Strategic Design in London (affiliated with OSF, which funded an anti-Q research project a coupla year ago). Fun fact: It was about Q people supposedly throwing the bavarian elections. When i mentioned it to eu anon, he was amused, had been involved in something there - although i doubt it was anything nefarious.
