I think I will watch Alice Sweet Alice later tonight just to see what kind of weird crap they have going on in that movie as well. I know Brooke was killed off but I think something weird (sexually) was being done to the sister.
She was 14 so even though there was not an older man it was basically a movie about to youngins half naked and having their first sexual encounter if I recall there movie correctly. So... kind of pedo for pervy viewers but I don't think society viewed as such at the time.

I agree with her mom being a pimp.. I think there was a lot of chatter of the fact back in early 80's. I'm a little bit younger than her... she was also in Jordache jean commercials and posters with only the jeans on. Not sure if that was done on TV but I recall the posters being in clothing stores.
