>Is it also true that physicians can prescribe IVM in Japan?

>YES

As basically all physicians.

The actual claim was that Japan dropped the vaxx and uses Ivermectin everywhere or some shit like that.

>Tokyo Medical Association recommended Ivermectin

TMA is a private company.

Some people online misinterpreted this as an endorsement of the drug and mischaracterized Ozaki as a government official. Butthe Tokyo Medical Association is an independent organization underneath the Japan Medical Association. It is not a government agencyand does not reflect the official stance of the Japanese government or its Ministry of Health.

See, it's fake news.

>time for damage control

The actual claim:

https://www.cracknewz.com/2021/10/japan-ends-vaccine-induced-pandemic-by.html

Japan ends vaccine-induced pandemic by legalizing IVERMECTIN

In September, the nation deployed ivermectin and began treating patients with more dignity.

I would LOVE to get a sauce on that, but it seems there ain't any.

Maybe there actually are doctors prescribing ivermectin off-label, who the fuck knows. But I haven't seen a sauce for that.

This one guy in a video isn't from the government and he also didn't authorize Ivermectin, whatever that is even supposed to mean. Ivermectin is an approved medicine, simply not officially for covid, but a doctor can use off-label and do it anyways. They don't need "authorization" for it. There could be an emergency authorization which would make it so doctors would not have to use off-label, but that's it.

That's why for now I consider it fake news.

The other article didn't have a sauce either, and I wondered why.

>The claim is that the Tokyo Med. Assoc head recommends IVM to treat covid

And these articles are correct.

The problem is that this was turned into a "Japan (government) has authorized Ivermectin and uses it instead of the vaxx" or some other BS and that is not the case.

>Yes, Tokyo org isprivate. But i'll be it's a lot like the American Medical Association, except possibly not COMP'D.

I like that guy, I have no clue how much power his words have.

Still claiming that "Japan threw the vaxx out and uses Ivermectin" is still fake news. I would love that to be real, but it seems it isn't.

>If i could speak Japanese, would do a dig. We are missing info on what % of MDs or institutions actually took that recommendation - and WHEN.

Yes, mabbe we could ask in the /qr/ Japan thread.

>They won't tell you if IVM's being prescribed a lot

And the blogs claim, but without evidence.

>(btw, sho makes the claim that Japanese govt threw out the vax?)

This here was the original article that I checked.

Wanted to send it around on a mailing list, but then figured it looks like fake news.

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/japan-drops-vax-rollout-goes-to-ivermectin-ends-covid-almost-overnight

Japan drops vax rollout, goes to Ivermectin, ENDS COVID almost overnight

"drops vax rollout" - no sauce

"goes Ivermectin" - no sauce

It's Fake News.

Oh, they edited it "The simple truth is that in September, the head of the Tokyo Medical Association went on national television and told Doctors to start using Ivermectin". Well, it claims Japan dropped vaxx rollout, which is BS, and Japan also "substituted Ivermectin", which is also BS.
