Donald Trump, Mike Lindell Endorse Kari Lake For Arizona Governor

A former New York news anchor has decided to run for governor of Arizona and she is being helped along by Donald Trump and Mike Lindell.

Kari Lake, who worked at WNYT Channel 13 in the Capital Region as well as an NBC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona which she left last year, and is now a front runner to replace Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, Syracuse.com reported.

She went to New York only to return to Phoenix to join her husband at a local Fox station.

But she left that network, Fox 10, this year and decided to make a bid at becoming the state’s next governor.

“This time away from work has given me a chance to reflect on my work,” she said when she left the network.

“Sadly, journalism has changed a lot since I first stepped into a newsroom, and I’ll be honest, I don’t like the direction its going,” she said. “The media needs more balance in coverage and a wider range of viewpoints represented in every newsroom at every level and at each position.”

“I’m sure there are other journalists out there who feel the same way,” the candidate said. “I found myself reading news copy that I didn’t believe was fully truthful, or only told part of the story. And I began to feel that I was contributing to the fear and division in this country by continuing on in this profession.”

“It’s been a serious struggle for me and I no longer want to do this job anymore,” she said. “So I decided the time was right to do something else and I’m leaving Fox 10.”

The former anchor has a good chance at winning the Republican nomination with a strong endorsement from Trump and another from Lindell.

“Kari Lake is running for Governor in the Great State of Arizona. She is a fantastic person who spent many years working as a highly respected television anchor and journalist. Because of this, few can take on the Fake News Media like Kari. She is strong on Crime, will protect our Border, Second Amendment, Military, and Vets, and will fight to restore Election Integrity (both past and future!). She is against Covid lockdowns, Cancel Culture, and will end “woke” curriculum in our schools. She will do a far better job than RINO Governor Doug Ducey—won’t even be a contest! Kari will make her wonderful family, and the MAGA movement, very proud. Kari Lake has my Complete and Total Endorsement. She will be a great Governor for the incredible people of Arizona!” he said in September.

And Lake celebrated when she got the endorsement of the MyPillow CEO.

“Mike Lindell is one of the Great Patriots of our time. I am so incredibly honored to have his Endorsement. He has put EVERYTHING on the line to restore our Elections. I look forward to working with Mike and many other great Americans to save Arizona!” she said.

Lake has take some hits from the media and Democrats for her anti-mask stance.

“Remember, slow the spread?

We’re on Day 515 of these bastards trying to destroy our lives,” she reportedly said at a rally at Arizona State University.

“If they arrest you, on Day 1 when I’m governor, I will pardon every patriot who stood up against this tyranny.”
