Well, getting the jab - that's his responsibility. He won't get another one, he knows now.
My interest in understanding how people do things that don't make sense (to me) is so i can (mebbe) help them or others avoid those choices in the future. Or take action to block things from happening that encourage people to ride into blocked canyons.
People makes mistakes, lots of them. Some are easy to understand, others not so.

i asked this as a question but i have an opinion. Strength comes from desire - the desire for something better and the willingness to develop it. Sometimes starts out as a wimpy little desire or from someone who's so scared they can barely think it. Like a little river - keeping feeding it water, and it grows.
