Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection Survey, UK: Characteristics related to having an Omicron compatible result in those who test positive for COVID-19

Summary of request

This analysis uses data from the COVID-19 Infection Survey for the fortnight, 29 November 2021 to 12 December 2021.

These early results show the characteristics of people more likely to be infected with the Omicron variant compared with the Delta variant.

These early results are based on the first fortnight’s data that have sufficient cases for analysis on the Omicron variant, so caution is advised.

According to this data testing positive for Omicron (is that even possible? Is there an Omicron specific test?) is more likely the more safe+effective shots you got.
