well, dat's nice. It's goin down to 16, no melty yet - but on Tues, it's sunny. So worth the shoveling. Just did again, then drove around to test all wheel drive w/summer ("all weather" - kek) tires. For this car, guess they are all weather - great handling, no skidding. Didn't try it on the steep hill up the road or the driveway tho, just shoveled it out so it melts faster. Very shady here.

AWD or 4WD ok by me, anything that works these days. Had a '69 w/4WD, gotta do it manually. Two of us were on a back road in Utah - a few raindrops fell. Within 10 mins, dirt road was a flood. Barely got the tires fixed, then had to turn around.
That was a helluva truck. Muh fren's dads. It was the an F-150 they used to sucker people in, so they could sell em the hyped up version. He said, 'nope - no power steering, nothing extra' - just the am radio and bench seat. Then he put 300 lbs of concrete in the rear bumper. That truck was still running good almost 30 years later.
