COUGAR59 and 12 Learjet 35s sw from Grand Junction, CO after ground stops.
Both of these ACs departed Brown Field, Otay Mesa (right on the border of Mex just east of D'town San Diego) earlier today. They started at Scott AFB, IL yesterday where they will most likely go back to nao
Otay Mesa is a Major Truck border crossing area as they cannot use San Ysidro furthere west and in TJ (busiest crossing in the world if not mistaken) for that. Also the location of the prototypes of the wall were built there for 45 to inspect a few years ago- wuz there many times.
Have pics of the old wall (POS chain link fence and traction mats basically) from April '19 being dozed and the construction of the real wall being done.
Border Patrol agents were all very nice and I made sure I told them wut I was doing before I got close to the 'no go' zone.
