Received this message from my kid’s school at 7:04am. We leave for school at 7:30. No school for a week. No time to plan. No working chrome books at home. Absolutely insane.
problem for anons, we usually knew whatever's in the news a year or more ago....

IRL real for me too but i live alone
so can spend time rabbit holing
living along is both good and bad
normally like the solitude and ability to choose when to see people
but given local conditions and the fact that i lost most of muh "frens", living here is often like being on an isolation ward

i've lived alone and with others, including a partner
both are fine but alone has been good for 15 years now
but "covid alone" is different
bc u are always alone in public places, nobody talks much and in the food stores, there's 100% masking, other places are not accessible to unvaxxed
glad i'm involved in an effort to do something about it - and lucky enough to have an home that's truly a refuge.

i went to marco to visit muh dad 20 yrs ago
when got there, realized i'd have to stay - dementia w/cancer.
but then alas he died from feedtube tube fiasco....
so returned home after taking care of affairs.
nice location but not the best for me, din feel right
would only have stayed to care for him, but not what happened
