problem for me is mostly physical
i have pretty bad tendonitis - as long as things are slow, no problem
but i have claimed other boards for the same reason as /qresearch/ - to protect them - and now have several i am managing also with two major threads on /end/. And doing a lot of digs.
Managing /qresearch/ is a big job.
Also, have no wish to have a near monopoly on Q boards.

In Sept 2020, i contacted nb about starting another board bc of oss on /qresearch/. We talked about the idea of a "council of bakers" running a board but it's really set up for one person, nobody anticipating a board like qresearch. Tom came in later, really wanted to bo - so he did.
i try to run qrb pretty sensibly but it's not a group enterprise, mainly coz it's very hard to make group decisions. Most of what i do is based on traditional baker practice and common sense (i hope).

we have five or six bv's on qrb now.
don't have to have a bv on duty at all times, just enough of the time. they don't even make the effort to cover on /qresearch/, completely hit or miss.

true. lemme put it this way:
on qrb, problems get immediate attn coz we are here
on qresearch, it takes hours - and sometimes forever - to get breads cleaned up, etc. AND ALWAYS HAS. So even to have BVs who are actually present on the board would be a big deal.

Bakers often asked for anon feedback, espec when adding to Globals or dough
Were careful about making changes, and not done just coz baker felt like it
Biggest problem with baking a long time ago was some bakers didn't notable much, anons din like it - that got the kitch into trouble but by 2020, notes were usually pretty good.
OSS attacked the board but telling anons that bakers were trying to dominate after KekBee came up with the idea of vetting them (in order to keep gerbil and random shills outta the kitchen). KB's was a good plan but disliked by shills, haha.
He was always a competent baker but probably a plant from the start. Slit my throat (along with Rusty, Veli and KB) PDQ. When he "apologized" in May 2020, didn't believe. Then came back in July. Bakers gave him another chance - and look what happened. All downhill from there.
we don't need to council much bc we already had same convos years ago, worked out stuff before.
i don mean "lean" notes, i mean breads with 5-10 notes for 751 posts (kek). Happened partly coz the priority was having baker on duty if Q posted and sometimes bakers were able to staff but not really to take notes. Later Q kept saying "we are the news," and notes got more developed.
Not the same as bloated notables full of weird stuff. We know the difference.
Don't personally care what happens with OSS as long as he isn't BV and doesn't spam. However, he should have been banned summer of 2020 for threatening doc and GB (me too indirectly). That is illegal.
Would certainly think about restoring /comms/ to ribbon and take a look at oss baker thread, which was created to destroy /comms/. Also would prefer to see last two pages of the dough restored if they are still missing. QR dough is in bad shape.
Just thoughts.
Never did figure out the real story with how 8bit "stepped down" or was "forced out." First sayin fj was a good guy, then later sayin he wasn't, then working with him again....

One of the anonymous BV's who worked with FJ? FJ would have posted as Board Owner at that time unless he was pretending to be BV. There was at least one nasty BV at that time, he and FJ used to harass me when i baked.

Two thing are for sure: stuff doesn't add up and board has been comp'd since April 2019. Amazing it's still going - and why it's worth preserving. Anons are still there working, despite everything.

yep, day shift was a crapshoot. partly just coz breads were fast, realized that after i started baking. they just missed a lot. when i did days, i tried to get everything. but that's hard, couldn't go more than 2 shifts.
nwb was always post everything at night - we were dig partners.
