Etwall Well Dressings 2022
Etwall is an old Saxon settlement located to the south-west of Derby. The importance of wells to the village is apparent from its name, written ‘Etewelle’ in the Doomsday Book. Well dressing was first celebrated here in 1970 and takes place over the third weekend of May each year. This year, Etwall will be celebrating over 50 years of Well Dressing with 8 well dressing sites to visit, as well as the opportunity to have-a-go at well dressing under expert supervision. Both churches will also have themed floral decoration. A blessing of the wells service will take place at 11.30am on the Saturday to officially open the Festival. However, all the well dressings can be viewed from mid-morning onwards.

Biden Admin Blames Math Error On Massive Oil & Gas Permitting Delays
The Biden administration quietly acknowledged in an April letter to oil & gas industry execs that a "miscalculation" is responsible for a massive backlog in offshore drilling permits. According to the April 29 letter from the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Richard Spinrad, a subagency "discovered a miscalculation" that's responsible for the massive backlog. Who's to blame? The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) - which is responsible for analyzing the impact of offshore drilling projects on wildlife - used faulty modeling which overestimated the effects on wildlife. "NMFS understands the concerns of industry and is working with [the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM)] to expeditiously develop … revised regulations," wrote Spinrad. The faulty modeling was used by the Biden administration via an April 2021 regulation according to the industry groups. According to the Department of Commerce, which oversees both NOAA and NMFS, the administration is "working to consider all possible solutions to expedite the rulemaking process to the greatest extent possible."
"NMFS is also engaged with affected members of industry and with industry trade associations as it considers both short-term and long-term solutions," the spokesperson told TheDCNF in an email. "The Commerce Department understands the concerns of industry and is working expeditiously to address the incorrect data it received for the initial rule and to proceed in earnest with the revised rule." NOIA President Erik Milito told the Caller that "Gulf of Mexico seismic permitting delays — when coupled with the lack of progress on a new five-year offshore leasing program and the continuation of a multi-year gap in Gulf of Mexico oil and gas lease sales — undermine the predictability companies have relied on to make multi-billion-dollar investment decisions in the Gulf of Mexico," which is happening "At a time when energy issues are at the forefront, NMFS should address the problems as quickly as possible." "Companies must be able to continue to explore for and develop hydrocarbon resources in the Gulf of Mexico." On Tuesday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and 19 other GOP Senators fired off an angry letter to the Department of Commerce expressing their concern over the permitting delays caused by the math error. "NMFS’s permitting delays represent one example of the Administration’s de facto ban on new drilling – impeding domestic oil and gas investment, exploration, and production," reads the letter. "It is unacceptable that agency miscalculations have restricted access to safe, secure, and reliable domestic oil and gas production through substantial, unnecessary, and arbitrary permitting delays."

Automakers are jacking up prices on electric vehicles to bake in rising materials costs
*Prices for battery-related commodities have surged in recent months, and analysts expect them to rise further over the next few years.
*Electric vehicle makers have already begun passing those higher costs on to their buyers.
*But some automakers are determined to hold down prices — at least for now.
Automakers from Tesla to Rivian to Cadillac are hiking prices on their electric vehicles amid changing market conditions and rising commodity costs, specifically for key materials needed for EV batteries. Battery prices have been declining for years, but that may be about to change. One firm projects a sharp increase in demand for battery minerals over the next four years that could push the price of EV battery cells up by more than 20%. That’s on top of already-rising prices for battery-related raw materials, a result of supply-chain disruptions related to Covid and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The higher costs have some electric vehicle makers boosting their prices, making the already-expensive vehicles even less affordable for average Americans and begging the question, will surging commodity prices slow the electric-vehicle revolution? >>135352 pb
Industry leader Tesla has worked for years to lower the costs of its vehicles, part of its “secret master plan” to promote a global shift to zero-emissions transportation. But even it has had to raise its prices several times over the last year, including twice in March after CEO Elon Musk warned that both Tesla and SpaceX were “seeing significant recent inflation pressure” in raw materials prices and transportation costs.
Most Teslas are now significantly more expensive than they were at the beginning of 2021. The cheapest “Standard Range” version of the Model 3, Tesla’s most affordable vehicle, now starts at $46,990 in the U.S., up 23% from $38,190 in February 2021. Rivian was another early mover on price hikes, but its move wasn’t without controversy. The company said on March 1 that both of its consumer models, the R1T pickup and R1S SUV, would get hefty price increases, effective immediately. The R1T would jump 18% to $79,500, it said, and the R1S would jump 21% to $84,500.
Rivian at the same time announced new lower-cost versions of both models, with fewer standard features and two electric motors instead of four, priced at $67,500 and $72,500 respectively, close to the original prices of their plusher four-motor siblings. The adjustments raised eyebrows: At first, Rivian said that the price hikes would apply to orders placed before March 1 as well as to new orders, essentially doubling back to existing reservation holders for more money. But two days of pushback later, CEO RJ Scaringe apologized and said Rivian would honor the old prices for orders that were already placed.
https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/21/electric-vehicle-prices-rise-at-tesla-rivian-gm-and-other-carmakers.html
Since the dealers have to buy the vehicles straight from the Mfg (in the traditional model) that is where the numbers come from regarding new vehicle purchases/sales---it is not representative of showroom floor sales-this is another 'trick' they use to paint a different picture-and please look at the car dealers around your area and how much of it's inventory are sitting in lots located near or sometimes adjacent to the dealership-they have to buy the cars to remain a licensed dealer-cap #2
Add in the rising cost of diesel and the dropping (until recently) price of Ag how long can these miners afford to do that?-the Silver is needed for conductivity components and the only thing that saves them is that Silver is a by-product of lead, zinc and copper mining. That is why there are very few stand-along silver mines because if you were in that business-just mining silver-you would be dying right now with the cost of diesel to operate the trucks and equipment.

Japanese and U.S. officials walk out of APEC meet to protest Russia
Representatives of five nations including Japan walked out of a meeting of trade ministers from the Asia-Pacific region in protest against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Japanese officials said. The two-day meeting in Bangkok of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum wrapped up Sunday, with promotion of trade and investment in a post-COVID-19 world high on the agenda. The coordinated walkout, also involving the U.S., Australia, Canada and New Zealand, happened when Maksim Reshetnikov, Russia’s economic development minister, started delivering his remarks during a morning session, the Japanese officials said. The delegations of the five countries left the room for about three minutes while the Russian minister spoke but returned to the table afterward, according to the officials. As the 21 economies forming the group, also including China and Indonesia, remain apart in their responses to Russia over its invasion of Ukraine, participants did adopt a joint statement, which needs to be unanimously approved. Instead, Thai Commerce Minister Jurin Laksanawisit, who heads the meeting, plans to issue the chair’s statement.

China says 'regular military supplies' delivered to Serbia
China says it delivered “regular military supplies" to Serbia, in its first comments on an unusual operation in which six Chinese Air Force Y-20 transport planes landed in Belgrade early Saturday. The planes’ arrival prompted heavy speculation they were carrying HQ-22 surface-to-air missiles under the terms of a previous deal signed between the sides. Serbia’s defense ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Associated Press.Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic all but confirmed the delivery of the medium-range systems that was agreed to in 2019, saying on Saturday that he will present “the newest pride” of the Serbian military on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Poland tells Norway to hand over oil revenues
Norway should share the “excess” profits it’s been making as oil and gas prices soar amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at the National Youth Dialogue Congress on Saturday. “But should we be paying Norway gigantic money for gas – four or five times more than we paid a year ago? This is sick,” he said, claiming that the excess of the annual average gas and oil profit “will exceed €100 billion” this year for a country of five million people like Norway. “They should share these excess profits. It’s not normal, it’s unjust. This is an indirect preying on the war started by Putin,” the PM said. Morawiecki also urged young Poles to go and shame their Norwegian “friends” over the fat gas profits online to push the country into sharing the wealth. Meanwhile, Poland’s main gas company, state-controlled PGNiG SA, saw its Ebitda (or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) profits almost double in the first quarter, reaching some $2.19 billion, writes Bloomberg. The profit was primarily generated by the Norwegian unit of the state-owned Polish company, which accounted for almost half of the massive figure.
Moreover, Poland was actively stocking up on gas before getting cut off by Russia, with German Gascade reporting a major spike in reverse gas flow in late April. Moscow stopped the gas supply to the country last month following Warsaw’s refusal to pay for fuel in rubles under a new scheme rolled out by Russia in response to the European sanctions. Poland has seen its demand for gas steadily grow in recent past years as the country strives to phase-out old coal-fired equipment. Warsaw is expected to complete a gas pipeline from Norway later this year, a major project expected to help Poland to reduce its reliance on Russian gas.

Norway wealth fund posts biggest quarterly loss in 2 years
Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, the world’s largest, reported on Thursday its weakest quarter in two years as inflation and the Ukraine crisis hit both stock and bond valuations. The $1.3 trillion fund posted a January-March loss of 653 billion Norwegian crowns ($74.2 billion), a negative investment return of 4.9%, which was still 0.66 percentage points better than the return on the fund’s benchmark index. It was the fund’s weakest quarter since losing $114 billion in the first three months of 2020 when the COVID pandemic first hit markets. The fund quickly rebounded from that, however, and in 2021 posted its second-best year on record. But the outlook remains uncertain, said deputy CEO Trond Grande of Norges Bank Investment Management, which operates the fund

Australia's Labor Party leader, Anthony Albanese, was sworn in as the country's 31st prime minister on Monday, promising to bring the country together after a fractious election campaign as he vowed to tackle climate change and inequality. Elon Musk, TWTR and what he is trying to show-moar importantly do with the call out of 'bots
You've all seen the rhethoric in the news about EM saying that up to 20% (probably higher imo) of Twatter is just 'bots so I will not go into that. These are the scenarios I see:
1: His agreed upon price @$54.20 is placing too high a valueon a platform that everyone knows is infested with bots-how did we get here in the first place right?. He is attempting to shine a light on that by a very public process of calling that out. The valuation of TWTR is MUCH lower-and he (and his team of lawyers know this) so he is trying to make the case that it is worth less by calling that out-in order to submit a lower offer price. You saw that Dopey finally "welcomed" him only after making an additional 5% purchase of twatter shares-this was a move that EM saw coming imo because it gives Dopey (via the Kingdom Holdings stake) moar 'control' of him. The bottom line with this is that EM must be able to PROVE 'Material Adverse Effect' should he want to walk away from this deal at agreed upon price and NOT have to pay the $1B separation fee that both parties agreed to (which is WAY too high imo) so if he can prove that (see #2) he can walk from that price and start again with a lowered offer based on the proof that he provides-should he be able to confirm this

Proving Material Adverse Effect (M.A.E)-See below for linky what that means with an equity of public traded Co.)This is going to be difficult to do because you simply cannot just say this is the case-it must be proved and good luck getting the FTC or SEC to "ride along" with you on this matter. Why have they not done this before? you should ask yourself. In order to do this (prove M.A.E) the entire CO's books must be forensically audited and analyzed to show that , yes in fact , TWTR does exist with XX% of bots doing the work. This goes to the application of the black money laundering via all these Co's and since all of them (with the exception of AMZN) ran ALL the black money through the advertising bucket (accounting-wise) you have to be able to show a certain % of clicked ads to make that believable-how many ads have you, as a TWTR accout holder, actually clicked on? That question should answer itself.
He needs to have PROOF and sitting around waiting for the FTC to do this is simply not going to habben.

3. Getting a non-compromised reputable accounting firm to PROVE these statements
THIS is going to be the hardest part because Dopey's additional purchase was an attempt to set a floor in the TWTR's dropping equity value-and keep that $54.20 offer valid. If TWTR is worth moar than $20/sh then I will see you on January 20th, 2024 at the steps of the Capitol Bldg giving muh acceptance speech-basically it is not and they all know this-which is why they initially refused his first offer. He 'upped' it to increase the value and then Dopey 'bit' by adding additonal share (5%). The market makers have been dropping his shares in TSLA (used as collateral for the loans-plus the Moran Stanley money tied to those shares) as a way to try and back him off of digging deeper into the guts of TWTR's operations. The closer it gets to that threshold (around just under $600) the moar leverage they have against him to back him out of the deal as he further pursues his examination of how TWTR actually operates. If they declare default or call him out (margin) he must pony up moar cash or unrestricted shares to continue the stated purchase at the $54.20 off price -THEY WANT THAT. IMO he would have done himself a bigger favor by accepting the BoD offer so he could work from inside as the CEO role in any Company is just the delivery boy for the BoD-see how any POTUS is just the CEO of the U.S. Corporation-established in 1871 with the D.C Act-and takes marhing orders (in most cases but less so in 45's case) from all the security clearences that are above any acting or sitting POTUS (there are upwards of 35 levels of security cleareances HIGHER than any POTUS). So Mr Musk must be able to prove M.A.E. and have a non-compromised accounting firm do this or he is locked into the $54.20/sh offer or he has to pay $1B seperation fee that he agreed to. How badly does HE want it)plus the need for the system to keep it a WAY too high valuation (this is also for the institutional shareholders benefit as well becasue they don't wanna see this things value cut in half or moar-it's already been heading that way) and what are his real intentions at $54.20/sh as it currently trades at $37.04-1.25 (-3.26%) this morning and TSLA shares (which his loans are tied to) are at $652.25-11.65 (-1.75%) while the NAS is flat at 11,356.19+1.57 (+0.01%) and the DOW is being sky'd at 31,624.43+362.53 (+1.16%)'''
This is jmo but I've seen this dance many times before just with different circumstances.
