Although it is in the window betw the extradition order and the 31MAY deadline, I’m thinking why bother begin making court appearances for JA or chance the US not wanting to release him once there, esp since Priti has absolutely no desire that he should face any court of law there. So why allow any pretrial appearances in the first place?
So not so sure on that flight, imho.
As for SR, is he even remotely close to being in a news cycle? Any investigative hearings on his death? A late breaking lead in the investigation?
But if Priti and PM Albanese can stop extradition then any eta in the US years from now would probably require a presidential pardon (based on new evidence?)
to allow JA to set foot in the US as a free man. Can’t see further appeals lasting a year or two. The process seems to require that extradition be resolved in the near future either way it is decided.
