FUN FACT: Did you know they close down the underground station at Westminster during NYE? That’s the one closest to Parliament. I wonder, I wonder why they close Westminster ‘Under’. Pounds and pounds powder across the river on NYE. Old insecurities are hard to relinquish perhaps.
Oh, made some really gud progress. Got a 2012 NYE London map showing all the First-Aid stations, temporary toilets etc.
The key location of one NYE First Aid station is across from CH under the railway overpass for Charring Cross Station. The locations of everything, so far observed, seems to be the same as in 2013. This is really strong corroboration that the green first-aid sign seen across from the Corinthia Hotel pics in SV and other sauces as of 2MAR2014 but NOT in the Q pics was almost certainly placed there around 30DEC2013. And this temp sign stayed up til the next Spring. This means we have strong proof the Q Corinthia Hotel pics were taken before 30DEC. We are still looking for moar sauce though, especially the 2013 NYE fireworks celebration map. Posting the one from 2012 to show locations of facilities on NYE.
Another sauce, a vid of the Annual London Santa Skate is dated 15DEC2013, does NOT show this First Aid sign, so we are really really confident we have finally been able to narrow the ‘bookends’ for the Q Corinthia Hotel pics to between 15DEC2013 and 30DEC2013.
Just got that map yesterday. Look for the First-Aid station on the other side of the Embankment Ln tunnel at VILLIERS STREET. We now have a link between that sign and NYE. So the fact that it is not in the Q pic puts it BEFORE 31DEC2013 and after the annual Santa Skate on 15DEC.
