Former LE Anon responding. Worked for a major metro PD with more than one major interstate passing thru.

LE generally takes street-level busts as they can find them, that's really the distro side though. For the money/drug flow ( actual pipeline work) the focus is on the money. There's both selfish and good reasons. Selfish is obvious. The goid is that loss of drugs due to seizure is expected (and DOES happen) but taking the money is where the pain happens. That's what the dealers want.

People who lose money get desperate and are moar likely to flip out of fear for their lives, and sometimes turn into useful informants.

It's a dirty business for everyone, anon. Like Churchill not warning a town before it got bombed in WW2, occasionally hard choices have to be made.

>We were taught to think that God was upset about sin, but, "all flesh" means "animal flesh" also corrupted? Can animals sin?

Obviously I can't say for sure, only God knows, but in my denomination it is mankind that exercised free will by rebelling against God's law, bringing sin into the world. That Pandora's box can be reversed, apparently, but it seems pretty plain it can't be done without the destruction of the existing world. And that means wiping us out.

Animals didn't have anything to do with it, weren't given free will and (if you think about what Heaven and Eden were supposed to be) they all lived harmoniously - the lion lying down with the lamb, if you will.

So, mankind can pretty much take the blame for screwing it all up. My take, but pretty sure it's somewhere on target.

Never tried it. I drink the local generic store brand organic Ethiopian. $6.00 for a 1lb bag pre-ground.

Boiling hot water, add a pinch of salt to the grounds, and use a French press.

It's rich, not acidic at all (salt takes it away, it's a Navy tradition) and it comes out with a nutty, almost dark-chocolatey flavor. Add a little half-n-half and a teaspoon of sugar, stir...good to go.

Wouldn't get too worked up just yet over the fact that it's aloft.

We just popped a drone that flew within a thousand feet of a destroyer, flown by a country that we think has nukes. We THINK they don't have a delivery system that can send one this far, but, "Let's just be careful."

Pretty much STRATCOM's unofficial motto, ya know?
