I'd have pointed out to him(politely so it doesn't get struck from any record...)) that he and his colleagues could quite easily change the current legislation to prevent these issues, by doing the jobs they are paid to do, by we the people.
There was a lot of discussion about those super tall soldiers when it occurred. There is a slope which could account for some of the height difference - see photo on level area.
Something spoopy about those videos around that time, almost Hollywood in their production.... but that's another rabbit hole.
