There is a reason that Sidney Powell is focusing on the FARA application, and not about Flynn's lie.

So Flynn's former legal counsel testified in the Rafikian case.

While I would say there is no real reason to like the guy, Erdogan was in fact the victim of an attempted Coup by Obama. He has been head hunting after Gulen for what ever reason ever since. I suspect that they simply hid their(Turkish Gov) funding going to this company for the work simply because the U.S. won't give someone up if they are just going to be killed.

The real takeaway is that Flynn told these lawyers to handle the FARA(As any normal, sane person would do), and did in fact add the Company as was required. Flynn's lawyer testified that the company in the Rafikian case LIED to him/them(Flynn's lawyers).

If true, whether or not Flynn lied is irrelevant. There would be literally no legal predicate to suspect, monitor, interview, or do anything with Flynn in the first place.

Further more, it would mean that the government has been using...you guessed it....FARA violations to designate people(Flynn/Carter Page) "agents of foreign powers" so that they can get FISA warrants on American citizens. Oh, and a FARA "violation" doesn't even have to be criminal for the designation.

When they get to selectively present things to a judge. you end up with shit like that judge accusing Flynn of literal Treason in court.

Wonder how bad he's going to flip out when he figures out what happened though
