I suppose you could say the same for all of those we have looked into over the years with the help of Q. My thinking is that it's not about having the evidence to convict (now that their protections are gone), it's about gradually informing the public until they are ready to face the true depths of everything.
I truly believe society will change forever when all is said and done. Better to have a public who has gradually come to terms with things, rather than shocking the system when they aren't ready for it. (Q has said as much.)
