My dad was one of the Marine Helo pilots that would ferry the scientists back and forth to Bikini Atoll, before & after the bomb testing. This is not reflected in his Military records. They had little badges they wore that would supposedly display how much radiation they had been exposed to The rest of his life he would ruin the headboards of beds where his head was near. Stained or painted didn't matter, the finish would become ruined in a year or two. I lost him in 95 and he is buried in a National Cemetery. In the 24 years after his death they have had to re-sod the grass on his grave at least four times. The rest of the Cemetery is fine. There are times when you can almost make out the shape of a person in the dead grass on his grave.
I have tremendous respect for our Bakers opinion and would defer to them especially as it seems they feel srongly about this.. Do you have any other solutions that would assist in solving the problem? The idea has merit, but changing formats makes it unattractive. At least we are talking before somebody changed something.
I should have said IMPROVE vice solving a problem. I believe there is always room for improvement. In all things we do. When people stop looking to improve themselves or their situation they flatline. I can expand my thinking as part of that improvement yes, but it was not me that brought the topic up, so obviously there are others who think we can improve also. Nothing get more efficient without improvement. I've said my piece.
