I personally think a little is okay. Not just for bread speed to help the bakers and baker assignments, but also for morale.

 

Baker Assignments - With the super long breads, there's less chance for new bakers to step in. When the board got started, we recognized (I believe) that need for a healthy baker roster to prevent future potential takeovers.

 

Morale - We're digging some dark shit. Some interspersed camaraderie would be welcome (to me).

No, there's no active work on it. That's just the natural look of the surrounding rock.

 

For reference, the Crazy Horse Memorial has been an active project for MANY years. The work is so substantial that it is very slow going.

 

It involves precision blasts/cuts, scaffolding, climbing, etc.

 

Work at Rushmore would not go unnoticed.
