Also, maybe we should look at similar stories with earlier photo? Janitor pic doesn't seem to be available from Getty (CORBIS) any more.
>The column-organized enterprises tend to feature private fiefdoms where each executive competes with others for funding, control, promotion, added responsibilities. They jealously hoard information that could make other execs successful.
>
>This is obviously a bad thing for the organization as a whole. In such organizations, sociopathic type people tend to rise higher in the organization and exploit the culture to their personal advantage
Yep, I've seen that so many times in the workplace. Inter-agency (and within agency) with similar problems = very bad for the country/world.
5th column always springs to mind first when connected with spies, so thank you again for tingling the almonds. (I know, I know, expand your thinking ;-) )

Tit for tat? Only a month ago...
"Tayyip Erdogan alleged Wednesday that the Egyptian government killed former President Mohammed Morsi, challenging official accounts that he died of natural causes and escalating tension with Cairo."

>Well damn. This raises the possibility that muh entire morning dig was in vain.

>Searched musel callsign and came up empty.
It's important to dig when it feels right anon - a dig like yours isn't a wasted effort. I didn't find much earlier (except the German translation). Was doing another round of various searches, and came across that from a search on "Operation Musel".
I posted on QR, but will put here too:

"ANDREWS AFB, Md. -- Anywhere she hears the klaxon on base, Capt. Kate DenDekker jumps and is instinctively ready to run.
She is one of the more than 40 UH-1N Huey pilots of the 1st Helicopter Squadron who, along with more than 20 flight engineers, have their ears fine-tuned to the distinctive alert signaling it's time to run out to the waiting helicopters and fly to Washington, D.C.
On the far north end of the flightline, the 1 HS trains for and performs its mission to provide airlift to White House, Cabinet, Congressional and Department of Defense leadership with immediate response to National Security incidents."
