Joe and Mika went on my shit-list a couple years ago. Since then, I've had occasion to underline their names a few times, but no cause to erase them.
So, carry proof. If you've been here at least two years but don't have legal status to be here, you've had contact with social services and can prove it. If you've been here at least two years, apparently you get to go through the normal, agonizingly slow, deportation process.

The central square is askew and those look like altars, not pits. The altars seem to line up with the 4 cardinal points of the compass. They are surrounded by raised areas. The pink square has been laid over the center of the circle ... perhaps to cover it from view? Although the whole thing is looking rather shabby, we have no clue from this photo when the square was laid in the center. It certainly does not appear to have been placed with the same care as the general area was laid out, so we can surmise that it is a later addition by less well informed parties.
The whole of it has been concealed from casual view with only one means of access.

I am reminded that Jesus instructed the Apostles to arm themselves for their journey, checked once afterward (for the record), and that at least one sword was present in the Garden to slice the ear off a servant. Jesus never disarmed his followers so as far as I am concerned, the order is still in effect. I am convinced that twice recently the appearance of my pistol grip (in Walmart and on an exit ramp following a minor fender-bender) kept a bad situation from getting much worse. Liberals have become aggressive ... but they are not yet suicidal.
