I got ONE Huey over Des Moines and ONE Chinook over Chicago. That's it. Lots of times I see choppers overhead and nothing at all on ADSB.
Not much we can do if they decide to fly silent. For all I can tell they might be running a shuttle service right now ... there are certainly a shit load of helicopters up east of the Mississippi -- 6 Black Hawks, a couple Lakotas and even a Chinook. But none of them are broadcasting MUSEL and almost none of them are anywhere near DC / WV.
To add to the pot, there are 2 Sentrys (AWACS) over TX and another patrolling in the Lake Erie area.
A few minutes ago there was a Chinook showing over Chicago but now it is off the screen and another is over Ft. Worth.
There are two Poseidons headed south. One from Augusta and the other from Wilmington.
There is a fair amount of activity, but nothing with a MUSEL callsign.
Oh ... and there seem to be a small extra contingent of tankers in the air which attest to there being many more planes in the sky than we can "see".

Not a VI license plate. They have a prefix of C, T or J, depending on which island. Possibly a NY plate ... I can't see it well enough to let a fix on the background.

i agree about those rotors. Those are huge fans holding a lot of weight up. They seem to be a solid 500 feet or so over me.

NC has over 2,000 miles of maintained hiking trails and close to that many that are no longer maintained. Plenty of room for civilians to practice, too. ;-)

Maxwell flew two types of aircraft, snagged your girls, acted the socialite ... doubt if she was able to do much more than CPR and slap on some first aid. With big names on the island, I'd think they would want more ... considerably more ... in order to get, say, Hillary, off the island after an "attack" or maybe a heart attack. NOBODY wanted an investigation of "the amenities" of the island.
