Chris Wallace: 'This has been a disaster for the Democrats' and 'for the reputation of Robert Mueller

"Fox News Sunday" anchor Chris Wallace called former special counsel Robert Mueller's testimony "a disaster for the Democrats" and "for the reputation of Robert Mueller" during a discussion on the network Wednesday morning, comments that were later retweeted by President Trump.

 

Wallace's remarks on Mueller come as the former FBI director testifies before two congressional committees on Wednesday.

"I think this has been a disaster for the Democrats, and I think it’s been a disaster for the reputation of Robert Mueller," Wallace told anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. "[He] doesn’t seem to know things that are in the report.

"He’s been attacked a number of times, and you would think that almost anybody else would have defended his own integrity, the integrity of the investigation," Wallace continued. "Over and over, Mueller just sits silent and lets the attacks from the Republicans to sweep over him and says nothing."

"I think it does raise questions about the degree to which he actually was in charge of and in control of this report, because he doesn’t seem very much in control or charge of what the final report was. I should say whether he was in charge of the investigation, because he doesn’t seem in charge of what the report actually says," he added.

Trump later quoted Wallace in a tweet sent around the time the hearing paused for a short break.

Odd YouTube channel appears, hosting new hi-def drone footage of Epstein’s “pedophile island”

 

Little St. James – or “pedophile island” as the locals call it – is at the epicenter of the Jeffry Epstein saga. Everyone wants more info about it. Who went there, when did they go, how was it funded, and why has it been ignored for so long? How is it possible that a whole host of governments let a known pedophile run a secluded, and very creepy, Bond-villain hideout for so many years… unless they were somehow involved with it?

Hopefully those answers are coming.

In the meantime, those who would like a closer look at Epstein’s lair can get one. Thanks to the appearance of an odd YouTube channel that exclusively hosts hi-def drone footage of the Little St. James Complex, we now have detailed flyovers. The first of these was posted about a week ago, and the posts have continued steadily ever since. There is now a total of twenty-seven highly detailed aerial excursions.

Bombshell IG report will accuse James Comey of running 'covert operation against' Trump, report says

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz will soon reveal that former FBI Director James Comey took "extraordinary steps" to deliberately mislead President Donald Trump in an effort to "secretly ... build a conspiracy case against the president," according to a RealClearInvestigations report.

While Horowitz's investigation focused on the origins of the FBI's Trump-Russia investigation, with special emphasis on potential abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, Horowitz has reportedly answered why Comey told Trump privately on Jan. 6, 2017, that the FBI was not investigating him when the FBI was, in fact, already deep in its investigation.

 

According to RealClearInvestigations, Horowitz's report indicates that Comey concocted an elaborate ruse to corner the president.

Sources tell RealClearInvestigations that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz will soon file a report with evidence indicating that Comey was misleading the president. Even as he repeatedly assured Trump that he was not a target, the former director was secretly trying to build a conspiracy case against the president, while at times acting as an investigative agent.

 

Two U.S. officials briefed on the inspector general's investigation of possible FBI misconduct said Comey was essentially "running a covert operation against" the president, starting with a private "defensive briefing" he gave Trump just weeks before his inauguration. They said Horowitz has examined high-level FBI text messages and other communications indicating Comey was actually conducting a "counterintelligence assessment" of Trump during that January 2017 meeting in New York.

Comey refused to publicly acknowledge what he told Trump in private, which eroded his relationship with the president and led to his firing. It was, of course, Comey's dismissal that ignited accusations that Trump obstructed justice.

To make matters more concerning, Comey allegedly planted an agent inside Trump's White House to report back details about Trump and his top aides.
