The connection between Ba'al and Jupiter is starting to make some sense to me. I'm thinking that the thread connecting them is that they are both the god of thunder, lightening, storms. Add to that, Ba'al's consort was Inanna, who is connected to Saturn and the Moon. Now, Saturn has a gender in astrology and it's masculine, so the fit is not perfect. But considering the duality we see in the cabal's religion, the male/female angle of Ba'al and Inanna makes sense. Add to that, Jupiter and Saturn are the two most powerful outer planets in astrology and Jupiter is beneficent while Saturn is malignant.
