How to Nominate a Notable and Help Your Bakers

  1. Have you checked to see if your nom has already been notabled?

  2. Does your nom have a working link? If there is no link, there is no notable.

  3. Does the link work? Did you open it? If the link is broken or doesn't work, there is no notable.

  4. IF you want to nominate something older, use the date:'From 2018' or 'reminder' in your description

  5. If your notable is a graphic, chart or side by side it still needs a description re: Why it is notable

  6. Some discussions are notable - inclusion of discussions as notable is up to the Baker.

  7. Relevant Digs with sourced information and live links are usually notable.

  8. Self nominations are generally discouraged. Try posting your info x 3 different breads. If you still get no love, you got no love. Move on.

Doing It

  1. Start a new reply

  2. Line 1 of your notable - Baker Notable or if you prefer, use red text

  3. Line 2 of your notable - tag the post you're nominating and Include a short Why It Is Notable statement on the same line with a space between the tag and your statement. (Should look like a single line in the notables section of the bread)

"Notable AF" does not count as a 'why it is notable' statement and neither does ^^^^^^.

That's it. Sounds easy, is easy.

>>3036, >>3061 I always thought a 'bake along' in /comms/ would be a good way to help anons learn to bake. Set up a veteran baker bread as the touchstone and let learners set up individual bakes. Use a specific time frame and allow "x" amount of time. Once set up, the learners could do their own practice bakes using notes from live breads.
