Let us be honest about Trump on Hannity. At the beginning, Trump sounded befuddled & was tripping over what he was saying. It sounded like Trump had become Mueller one day after Mueller had made an ass of himself. The other point in the show was the Trump response to why the DECLAS was left to the AG. After talking around it for a few seconds, Trump sidetracked to people...all the people who did whatever. Perhaps Trump was not prepared in the beginning part of the show, and perhaps he did not want to speak about DECLAS. Since they both speak on a near daily basis, I would have assumed that the interview topics had been gone over in advance and approved.
The result was the first time I have heard Trump sound like every other politician I have heard...hemming, hawing and being evasive to answering a question. I do not know the plan, but it needs to be better than the performance given last night, which seemed to be a BIG slide backwards-not just a step. It will now be necessary to listen more closely to what Trump says in the future to determine whether or not we are being played as we have been so many times in the past.
