Dept. of Water and Power and the City Council recently were raided by FBI, which means they had evidence of criminal conduct in order to get the warrant. It also means they went in and copied the hard drives, SOP.
@TheGussReport tweeted it was related to a $30M no-bid contract probably tied to $1.2B ($1.6B?) in bonds for homeless housing, much being put into mildly affluent areas w/$800k-$1.5M homes while the city owns much land that only became catalogued in the last two years, including in NM and AZ. More of a trafficking tie-in?
