Everyone says tinted glass bottle.
We make 6-8 quarts at a time and some of our bottles are brown glass, others are lightproof plastic. Have actually not experienced any difference in efficacy whatsoever.
Some types of plastic bottles that are light proof, if you're in a hurry or off the grid and have a hard time obtaining brown glass ones:
Arizona Ice Tea (may have to wrap transparent lid with black electrical tape)
Generic maple syrup quart
Generic brand hydrogen peroxide
Prune juice
I will always recommend tinted glass bottles, and yet -- empirically -- we see no difference in the Cs that we make. We're talking 20+ years experience doing this.
The CS we put into our bottles is 20 ppm. We store the bottles in a dark place.
Publishers generally do NOT advance royalties to writers. Anytime they do, you gotta wonder what's up. Are they really that positive that sales will far exceed the advance royalty payment? It's not a prudent way to run a business.
