Cartwright had signed a mountain of non disclosure agreements, just like Hillary and everyone else who ever gets near class. How can on prosecute a submariner for taking a photo in a sub yet let GENERALS and SECRETARIES OF STATE skate on far worse crimes? Would it be crazy to expect a general and Secretary of State to be slightly more familiar with the laws governing classified material than some Boatswains Mate on a sub? Which should be held to an even higher legal standard?
Don’t call me a liar, fella. I dug this for weeks. Cartwright admitted he lied after the FBI proved he leaked. Dude passed out in the interview. He should be in a brig right now. This case and others muddied the water. The laws and statues are clear and could and should be easily prosecuted no matter who breaks them, foreign policy be damned.
He punted. He may regret it, he may not of liked it but he did it and left the system now scratching its ass as to how to undo it.
